- Playing for Nomads USSDA as a Goalkeeper for the 2015/16.
- Trains with Ian Feurer, former EPL and MLS GK, U.S. National team coach and GK coach for LA Galaxy from 2007-2014. Ian has trained Malik the last 3+ years at an advanced level.
- Trained extensively with Johann Noetzel, former EPL and MLS GK, who is currently training the Japan National team. Their daily sessions for 2-3 hours for months at a time gave Malik a great work ethic and strong base by age 12 1/2. Johann trained Malik 2+ years.
- Malik is known for being very technical and saving PK's. He saved 3 in a Penalty Shoot-Out for his career best.
- Malik has great feet and can distribute with either foot. He has an accurate drop-kick too.
